Estate AanHetGroteBos Accommodation is located within the Gulpdal, nature reserve with fascinating flora and fauna near Slenaken. Our park garden (5.000 m2) is situated directly by ‘Het Groote Bosch’ and provides you with plenty of relaxation areas that are surrounded by nature, such as the small river ‘De Gulp’, the sheep paddocks and our woodland garden. Enjoy the tranquillity of this nature reserve.  

AanHetGroteBos Accommodation is located only 1 km from the Belgian border, which makes our accommodation the ideal starting point for walk and cycle routes throughout the hills of Limburg and the countryside of the Voerstreek. This accommodation is situated centrally between cities such as Maastricht, Aachen, Liege, Tongeren, and Cologne. Nature reserves such as the High Fens, Ardennes (ideal for cross-country skiing during winter) and Eifel are only a short distance away.

The holiday apartments are provided with a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, a lounge area, one or two bedrooms provided with linen, a shower, toilet, boiler, and terrace furniture.

'AanHetGroteBos' vakantiehuizen ligt in‘Het Gulpdal’, dichtbij het dorpje Slenaken, 1 km van België en 15 km van Maastricht.

Onze parktuin van 5.000 m2 met vele bijzondere bomen, planten en beelden vormt een subtiele overgang naar ‘Het Groote Bosch’ dat u via een bruggetje over ‘De Gulp’ bereikt.

De vele zit- en ligplaatsen zijn zo gesitueerd dat u er ongestoord kunt zonnen en relaxen bij De Gulp, aan de schapenweides, op het gazon en in de bostuin. Grote delen van Het Gulpdal, waaronder het bos aan onze parktuin, zijn stiltegebied en herbergen zeldzame dieren (salamanders, ijsvogel) en planten. Vossen, reeën en dassen worden regelmatig gesignaleerd. Een uniek natuurgebied in Nederland en bekroond als 5-sterren natuurgebied. Een perfect startpunt voor wandelen, fietsen, genieten!

De Voerstreek direct over de grens is een bijzonder mooi gebied en zeer geschikt om te wandelen en te fietsen maar ook natuurgebieden als de Eifel, Ardennen en de Hoge Venen liggen op korte afstand. Maastricht, Aken, Luik, Valkenburg en Heerlen liggen binnen een afstand van 15 km; Tongeren, Dusseldorf, Keulen, Spa en de grens van Luxemburg bereikt u binnen 1 uur.
